In no particular order, here are a couple of interests I'm currently looking at in 2011:
- Learning to stand on a surfboard - this frustrates me no end. Skiing and snowboarding are no problem, so why should this be so hard?
- Cloud hosting environments. And by Cloud I mean virtualized hosting systems, e.g. Amazon's AWS
- PHP Development frameworks. My current faves are Symfony 2 and Pimcore
