In no particular order, here are a couple of interests I'm currently looking at in 2009:
- Learning to stand on a surfboard - this frustrates me no end. Skiing and snowboarding are no problem, so why should this be so hard?
- Content management systems. I've played a bit with Joomla, so I'm now interested in Typo3 and Drupal
- Standardized programming frameworks - after years of working with the same old home grown one, it's interesting to see what ideas have standardized. I've done a fair bit of work with customized MVC frameworks, as well as Zend Framework and Cake. Still looking for the perfect one!
